How it's different

Privacy-first age checks

Most age-verification services see your users' identities. Identified is built so we can't — even if we wanted to.

End-to-end encrypted

Personal data is encrypted on the user's phone and never leaves it in plaintext. The server computes the age check directly on ciphertext.

Cryptographically authentic

Passport NFC chips contain government signatures. Identified verifies document authenticity without storing or transmitting personal data.

One API call

A single request returns a yes/no answer: is this person old enough? Set the threshold to 13, 16, 18, 21 — whatever the regulation requires. No biometric data, no document images, no PII.
